We have our monthly meeting of the NM chapter of the Vasculitis Foundation tomorrow night, September 17th at 6PM. This month is a little different. We are going to try some new places and see what works best. This month, we are trying out McAllisters Deli, in the Uptown Mall. I am going around and shortening the names of things. Before I might have called this, "The website where you go to get lots of good information about vasculitis in New Mexico." Then later I shortened that to, "Central NM Vasculitis - Vasculitis Foundation New Mexico." But really, people are getting to know us as NMVasculitis.org, and that is enough. The website, blog, Google Groups... all of it will change over. |
Here is a random thought... One of the strangely comforting things about vasculitis is that once you max out your out of pocket expenses on the insurance, and no longer have to worry about the first big deductibles of the year, it is somehow liberating. We will meet on Thursday, March 19th at 6PM. I know some old members are returning, so we may have some awareness week planning going on! That will be grand. There was an RSVP, so we will also meet again on Sunday, March 22nd at 2PM. A new member may be coming down from Taos, so why not come to the meeting to greet her if she makes it? |
